Madhav Bhatt advises health care companies on complex transactions, regulatory compliance and strategic growth. He works with clients across the drug supply chain and the broader health care industry, including wholesalers, PBMs, specialty pharmacies, health systems, physician groups and payers.
Madhav’s transactional practice includes mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, PBM contracting and pharmacy program development. He conducts due diligence, drafts and negotiates transaction documents and coordinates regulatory approvals to help clients close deals efficiently and manage risk.
With academic training in pharmacy and health care administration, Madhav brings a practical perspective to legal strategy. He understands how health care businesses operate, from clinical workflows and financial pressures to day-to-day regulatory requirements. He brings that operational insight to regulatory and transactional matters, including the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute and HIPAA, as well as physician compensation arrangements, supply chain agreements and billing and reimbursement issues.
