Sheppard’s Women in Healthcare Leadership Collaborative (WHLC) is a national leadership initiative dedicated to supporting women who are currently in or advancing into leadership positions within the healthcare and life sciences industries.

WHLC is an inclusive group that welcomes and benefits from the participation of professionals of all genders who are committed to supporting women leaders and addressing gender disparities in leadership.

Drawing upon Sheppard’s nationally ranked healthcare practice and the firm’s leadership in diversity and inclusion, WHLC fosters a nationwide community of engaged professionals through events held across the country. In addition to high-quality networking opportunities, WHLC identifies resources and professional development programs to support career growth. 

WHLC also hosts regular roundtable discussions on complex legal and business issues, cutting-edge developments in healthcare, and professional skills training, equipping participants with the knowledge and connections to thrive in leadership roles.

Our Leadership

WHLC was founded by Sheppard attorneys Amanda Zablocki and Danielle Vrabie. Both Amanda and Danielle are members of Sheppard’s healthcare industry team and served as the Co-Chairs of WHLC since inception.

Amy Dilcher and Chi Huynh serve as the current Co-Chairs of WHLC. Both Amy and Chi are members of Sheppard's healthcare industry team. Amy specializes in structuring complex healthcare transactions, managing legal risks during critical phases, and ensuring seamless compliance integration. Chi specializes in healthcare transactions and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance matters.

Our Members

WHLC’s members include in-house attorneys, compliance officers, and women currently in and rising into C-suite and management positions. Our membership represents every sector of the healthcare industry, including providers (hospitals, academic medical centers, physician groups), health plans, digital and telehealth companies, DME, research institutions, community-based providers, clinically integrated networks, and life sciences and pharmaceutical companies.
