Linda Shen is a senior associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group in the firm's San Diego office.
Linda represents employers in a wide range of matters before state and federal courts and in arbitration, including wage and hour class, collective, and representative actions; single plaintiff discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination actions; and background check-related class actions. Linda also provides advice and counsel in several areas, including as to wage and hour compliance, handbooks, arbitration agreements, and employee accommodation, discipline and termination matters. Her clients range from small businesses to publicly traded companies, and her experience spans the financial services, food and beverage, healthcare, hospitality, retail, and transportation industries, among others.
Linda received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, James Kent Scholar, and Notes Editor for the Columbia Business Law Review. During law school, Linda externed for the late Honorable Harold Baer in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Prior to law school, she worked as an analyst at NERA Economic Consulting (Oliver Wyman Group), where she performed economic analyses and helped draft expert reports for employment, mass torts, and securities litigations.
