Overview

Keren is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm's New York office. 

Keren's practice focuses on mergers, acquisitions (both buy-side and sell-side), private equity, venture and growth equity financings and other corporate transactions. Keren has advised on transactions in a wide range of industries, including software, biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, entertainment, technology and advertising. Keren has experience representing public and private corporations (from start-ups to billion dollar companies), private equity firms and portfolio companies of sponsor funds. Keren also advises clients on general corporate formation and governance and day-to-day legal and commercial matters.

Pro Bono

Keren believes in providing pro bono legal services for worthy causes. Keren serves as the pro bono coordinator for the Corporate & Securities group, and has experience representing a multitude of pro bono clients on a wide-range of matters, including (but not limited to): (1) representing a mother who was a victim of domestic abuse in a litigation in family court against her husband, where Keren's client was awarded full custody of her children; (2) representing a number of victims of domestic violence in their application for a green card, and (3) advising small businesses on corporate formation and governance matters.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining Sheppard, Keren was an associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. While at Willkie, Keren went on a six-month secondment at Her Justice, where she represented victims of domestic violence in both civil and criminal court in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Bronx.
