Jonathan Clark is an aggressive, strategic litigator who helps clients navigate the full life cycle of the employment relationship, with particular focus on “employee departure” litigation. He frequently represents companies seeking to enforce or defend against restrictive covenants, protect trade secrets, guard prized customer relationships and minimize risks when hiring or terminating key personnel.

Much of Jonathan’s practice involves emergency injunction actions in state and federal court to halt contractual and legal violations before damage occurs. He also guides companies through the dangers associated with hiring talent bound by overbroad or unenforceable restraints and regularly defends clients facing “rights and responsibilities” litigation filed by current or former employees—including single-plaintiff and class action claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wage-and-hour violations. Jonathan is skilled at securing crucial discovery and deposition testimony that positions cases for favorable outcomes.
