Brian Anderson is a seasoned corporate attorney serving the sports industry in the U.S. and Europe. His practice spans business transactions, commercial contracts, intellectual property, advertising, technology and data-related matters, where he helps clients solve challenges and unlock value.
As co-leader of Sheppard’s Sports industry team, Brian advises clients ranging from emerging leagues and expansion teams to established organizations in major U.S. and international competitions. His clients include teams, leagues, investors, and consumer brands active in sports sponsorships, spanning Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer, the National Women’s Soccer League, the Premier League, the English Football League, Liga MX, the National Hockey League, Major League Rugby, and the NCAA.
His work includes:
