Overview

Amanda Bogle helps healthcare providers navigate complex regulatory, transactional and operational challenges across the continuum of care. She advises hospitals and health systems, pharmacies, academic medical centers, and providers, including those serving rural and underserved populations, on matters ranging from mergers and acquisitions to fraud and abuse compliance.

Guided by clients’ business strategies, Amanda counsels on 340B Program compliance, Medicare changes of ownership (CHOW), state and federal payor arrangements, and structuring strategies in evolving regulatory environments. She regularly advises on pharmacy-related matters across retail, institutional, infusion, and mail order pharmacies, PBMs, telepharmacy and third-party administrators.

Amanda’s regulatory experience includes the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law and False Claims Act; billing and reimbursement (including OPPS and the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule); telehealth; hospital licensure and certification; Medicare and Medicaid enrollment; Certificates of Need; and corporate practice of medicine. She translates complex requirements into clear, practical guidance that helps clients manage risk, support operations, and pursue strategic growth.

Before joining Sheppard, Amanda practiced healthcare regulatory and transactional law at an AmLaw 100 firm and served as a senior attorney at a healthcare consulting firm, advising on compliance strategy, revenue optimization and operational excellence. During law school, she clerked at the Office of Counsel to the Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Outside of work, Amanda serves as Secretary of the Chicago Coalition to end Homelessness (CCH) Associate Board, an organization she has been involved with for over ten years. She also enjoys playing tennis, skydiving, board games, scuba diving, traveling and training her Australian Shepherd, Nova, in agility.
