Megan Rooney leads transformational and strategic transactions for healthcare companies. As co-leader of the firm’s hospital and health system transactions and regulatory team, she advises hospitals, health systems, and healthcare and life sciences companies.
Having closed more than 100 healthcare deals in nearly 20 years of legal practice, Megan brings in-depth knowledge in all aspects of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, affiliations, joint ventures and system restructurings. She also advises healthcare and nonprofit clients on a wide range of legal matters, including corporate governance and compliance with respect to licensure, accreditation, and other state and federal regulatory matters.
A former healthcare professional with firsthand clinical experience, she brings unique insight into the business challenges and opportunities facing her clients.
