Drawing on his considerable pre-trial and trial experience in courts throughout the country, Rob focuses on mastering the facts of every case to help his clients achieve success. His experience includes all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through discovery, dispositive motions, trial and appeal. In a recent high-profile trademark case, Rob cross-examined the opposing side’s designer, highlighting statements she made on YouTube that damaged her credibility. He also directed and cross-examined the damages experts, securing his client the full damages requested, resulting in the trial team being named runner-up by The American Lawyer for “Litigator of the Week.” In 2021, Rob had similar results when he examined the client’s technical expert and cross-examined the opposing side’s technical fact witness, paving the way for a jury verdict of infringement and maximum damages for the client in a complex patent case.
Rob also has a strong commitment to pro bono legal services. He has helped domestic violence victims obtain asylum in the United States, aided a nonprofit refugee center in securing a trademark and represented geriatric prisoners seeking proper COVID-19 protections.
