As Co-Chair of Sheppard’s Canada Desk, Nazia leads a team that provides comprehensive cross-border legal services to Canadian-based clients across a broad spectrum of industries. She has extensive experience with dual-listing Canadian companies on Nasdaq and New York Stock Exchange and leads Canadian companies in a range of financings, including financings under the U.S.-Canada Multijurisdictional Disclosure System (MJDS), as well as Rule 144A, Regulation S and Regulation D offerings.
In addition, Nazia has extensive experience leading foreign companies across Australia, Asia and Europe through initial public offerings and listings on Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange.
Nazia also assists clients with corporate governance matters, including with ongoing U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission reporting obligations, FINRA-related compliance and matters involving state securities commissions. Furthermore, Nazia serves as a Principal American Liaison for foreign companies with securities quoted on the U.S. Over-the-Counter Markets (OTC).
