Karen Shilyan is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm's Los Angeles office.
Karen represents public and private companies, private equity funds and their portfolio companies and entrepreneurs and founders in a variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, entity formation, and other general corporate matters. She has advised clients in a wide range of industries, including aerospace and defense, software & technology, retail, fashion, apparel and beauty, construction, food & beverage, advertising, entertainment and healthcare.
Karen received her law degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. While in law school, she served on the Business Law Society as the Transactional Law Dinner Chair, participated in the Small Business Clinic and Moot Court, and obtained the Business Law Certificate.
Prior to law school, Karen attended UCLA, where she graduated summa cum laude.
