Overview

Julie Kadish guides companies on the lawful collection, use and sharing of information. She has extensive experience helping clients develop global privacy and cybersecurity programs by conducting gap assessments, strategizing on remediation plans and implementing measures for compliance with U.S. and international regulations.

Having worked in-house at a technology company, Julie has a well-rounded perspective on her clients’ privacy and cybersecurity challenges. She provides practical advice on the privacy implications for various types of products, services and commercial transactions. Her experience spans industries such as digital health and wellness, life sciences, technology, manufacturing, professional services, consumer packaged goods, and food and beverage.

In the realm of data security, Julie advises on policies, procedures, employee training, incident response plans and other proactive compliance measures. She also assists companies in responding to data breaches, from the initial investigations and notification analysis to regulatory inquiries at the state, federal and international levels.

Aside from product counseling and developing privacy and cybersecurity compliance programs, Julie also advises on the privacy and cybersecurity issues in mergers and acquisitions and public company filings. She drafts and negotiates data use provisions, data security exhibits, data processing agreements, software licenses and other technology-related commercial agreements.

Julie is certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) with CIPP/US, CIPM and CIPT credentials.
