David Smith is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group’s Telecom Team in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. David advises telecommunications, technology, space and satellite, aerospace and defense, and infrastructure companies on complex regulatory and policy matters. He represents clients before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on a broad range of issues, including emerging technologies, wireless and satellite spectrum policy and licensing, experimental licensing, regulatory fees and compliance, and mergers and acquisitions. David also works on matters before "Team Telecom" and the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) on commercial agreements and foreign ownership review.
David also maintains an active pro bono practice focusing on immigration matters before USCIS and DHS.
