Anna Lashley is special counsel in the Governmental Practice in the firm's Washington, D.C. office, and a member of the White Collar Defense team.
As a member of the Governmental Practice group, Anna works on a range of government and internal investigations, regulatory inquiries, white collar criminal defense matters, compliance issues, civil litigation, and enforcement actions.
Anna's experience includes representing individuals and corporations in complex matters involving the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) and other government agencies. She has defended individuals in a variety of matters, including matters alleging health care fraud, wire fraud, procurement fraud, mail fraud, bribery, and securities fraud, and has defended civil and criminal investigations involving the False Claims Act. Anna also has experience with large-scale investigations, such as responding to subpoenas and civil investigative demands, planning and conducting internal investigations, advising on compliance concerns, preparing clients and company employees for government interviews, and presenting to governmental agencies.
