Overview

Aaron Campbell helps entertainment and media companies bring film and television projects to market by structuring and negotiating some of the industry’s most significant deals. From development and production through acquisition and distribution, he advises major studios, streaming platforms, independent producers and other media organizations on transactions that balance creative objectives with business realities in a rapidly evolving marketplace.

Aaron’s practice spans domestic and cross-border matters, including high-value acquisitions, strategic investments and complex partnerships involving content libraries, distribution companies and platform-related assets. He also represents companies in the themed entertainment and location-based entertainment industries, drawing on direct experience at Walt Disney Parks & Resorts and another themed attraction company to bring practical insight into the operational, creative and intellectual property considerations unique to these businesses. He works closely with in-house legal and business teams to anticipate and manage the operational, regulatory and financial considerations that arise across multi-stage transactions, particularly where rights, financing structures and distribution channels are shifting.

Drawing on his prior law firm experience in leading entertainment practices and in finance roles, Aaron brings a commercially grounded perspective to negotiating and executing sophisticated media deals. He is also a certified public accountant (licensed in Michigan), which informs his approach to transaction structure, valuation considerations and the practical integration of newly acquired assets.

Outside the office, Aaron enjoys hiking in national and state parks across the West, visiting his children and grandson in Florida and Michigan, and exploring craft breweries.
