Entertainment lawyer Yeeun Kim was recognized in Variety’s 2026 New Leaders list, which honors the next generation of entertainment industry talent, advisors and executives taking the industry by storm.
Kim was highlighted for her work as a key team member representing Blackpink's Lisa on her acting agreement for Netflix Korea’s project, “Tygo.” She also played a leading role on the team representing Amazon MGM Studios in negotiating agreements for the film adaptation of “Is God Is,” including the rights, writer and director agreements with playwright Aleshea Harris and the producer agreements with Tessa Thompson’s Viva Maude, Janicza Bravo and Linden Productions.
In addition, Kim advised ZARA on an unprecedented multimedia collaboration with superstar Bad Bunny tied to the artist’s Super Bowl halftime performance and the launch of a new fashion collection, including the licensing and promotional exploitation of the artist’s music.
Honorees will be celebrated during Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood signature event on August 5 in Los Angeles.
