Nine Sheppard lawyers were selected to Variety’s Legal Impact Report 2026, a prestigious list of the entertainment industry’s top dealmakers and litigators: Aaron Campbell, Robert Darwell, Joe Ireland, Robb Klein, Ramela Ohanian, Justin Reid, Dan Schnapp, Aerin Snow and Nicolas Urdinola.
Schnapp, Klein, Snow, Ireland were recognized for their work on a series of headline-making deals. Notably, Snow and Ireland represented Village Roadshow in one of 2025’s most closely watched entertainment bankruptcies, which resulted in the $417.5 million sale of the company’s film library, while Schnapp handled InterPositive, LLC’s landmark acquisition by Netflix, Inc. and Klein represented Dimension Studio in connection with various film projects.
Darwell, Ohanian, Campbell and Urdinola were highlighted for their global practice, representing Spain’s Secuoya Studios and France’s Gaumont. The team also handled the renewal deal for Seasons 2 and 3 of Amazon MGM Studios’ “Beast Games” series featuring popular YouTuber Mr. Beast.
“That was a bold move by Amazon to take someone who’s been successful on YouTube and see if it could have a life on their on their platform,” Darwell commented.
Reid was included in Variety’s “Up “Next” list, which recognizes young and rising entertainment lawyers. Reid represents clients such as Amazon MGM Studios, Gaumont and Meta in complex production negotiations.
