Shannon Mandich advises on complex real estate projects, focusing on the creation and documentation of governance structures for real estate developments, including residential, commercial and mixed-use projects. She is co-leader of the Multifamily Housing team.
Representing real estate developers, homebuilders and property owners, Shannon provides counsel regarding the development and sale of master-planned communities, mixed-use developments, planned unit developments, condominium projects and commercial/industrial projects.
Shannon has extensive experience preparing the legal management and association documents that establish governance structures—declarations of covenants, conditions and restrictions (CC&Rs)—as well as related easement, maintenance and cost-share agreements, purchase and sale agreements, disclosure statements and conveyance instruments. Her work includes advising on governance structures as they relate to both new and existing real estate developments.
In addition, Shannon advises clients on real estate regulatory matters related to the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) subdivision regulatory process and other state, local and federal laws and regulations concerning the creation and operation of associations and the development and sale of property.
Clients rely on Shannon to create and tailor transaction teams, assuring that the needs of each deal are addressed by lawyers with the appropriate expertise. They count on her to develop creative solutions which protect their interests, preserve flexibility, and ensure that they retain control over the use of property consistent with their business objectives.
In her free time, Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
