Overview

Wonsun Jung helps Korean and global public and private companies navigate high-stakes corporate and securities matters. With a deep understanding of business culture in both Korea and the United States, she serves as a bridge for her clients—helping them anticipate and manage risk, and move with clarity and confidence through complex legal environments.

In the arena of corporate law and transactions, Wonsun advises on a broad range of matters, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and investments, licensing and distribution arrangements, corporate governance and capital markets. Clients rely on her legal insight and cultural fluency to structure deals effectively, manage stakeholder dynamics and achieve significant business objectives.

Wonsun advises many of Korea’s largest conglomerates and major global businesses across industries such as energy, manufacturing, EV batteries, chemicals, electronics, aerospace and defense, trading and retail—aligning legal strategies with commercial priorities. Her practice also includes advising on capital markets transactions, including SEC-registered and Rule 144A/Regulation S offerings, where she represents both issuers and underwriters.

In her free time, Wonsun enjoys playing golf and the grand harp, and collecting contemporary art. She is currently working on a collection of personal essays exploring the intersection of law, culture, and personal history.
