Weiwei Chen is an associate in the Tax, Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice Group in the firm’s Chicago office.
Weiwei advises private and public companies on a broad range of tax planning matters relating to business and investment activities. Her practice focuses on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, going-private transactions, financing transactions, and partnership and corporate restructurings. In addition to her transactional practice, Weiwei represents private investment fund sponsors and investors in connection with fund formations, continuation funds, secondary transactions and other complex business arrangements.
Prior to joining Sheppard, Weiwei was a tax associate at a leading international law firm.
