Tomas Pradia is an associate in the Labor and Employment and Intellectual Property Practice Groups in the firm's Houston office.
Tomas represents clients in business disputes, employment matters, and intellectual property issues, guiding them from pre-litigation strategy through motion practice and all the way to court proceedings. He brings a practical, strategic approach to every engagement. Although early in his career, Tomas's extensive courtroom experience has proven invaluable to clients. As an associate, he has served as lead counsel and secured favorable decisions in hearings and other contested matters.
Tomas also advises clients in the professional sports industry on a broad range of matters. He provides comprehensive legal support by drafting and reviewing intellectual property and employment agreements, counseling clients on regulatory and operational issues, and delivering tailored trainings to help organizations manage risk and protect their interests.
Prior to joining the firm, Tomas learned to advocate zealously in the courtroom as a prosecutor for the Harris County District Attorney's Office. There, he gained significant case management and first-chair trial experience handling a high-volume docket in one of the country's largest counties. Tomas also developed his skills in civil motion practice during a two-year clerkship for the Honorable Kenneth M. Hoyt at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, where he assisted in writing memorandum opinions and resolving complex evidentiary issues during trial.
