Todd Lundell is a Certified Appellate Specialist and an elected member of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers and the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers. His appellate practice spans a wide range of substantive areas, including product liability, insurance litigation, labor and employment, business torts, class actions, arbitration, bankruptcy and family law. With particular experience in Ninth Circuit and California civil appeals, Todd has also represented clients in nearly every federal circuit court of appeals and in several state appellate courts.
Todd has been lead counsel in hundreds of appeals and has significant experience drafting merits briefs, amicus briefs, petitions for review and petitions for writ of mandamus and supersedeas. He is ranked by Chambers USA for California Litigation: Appellate (2015-2026).
In addition to his appellate work, Todd regularly collaborates with trial counsel on legal strategy, complex motions, appellate preservation issues, jury instructions, verdict forms and post-trial motions, ensuring a seamless transition from trial to appeal.
