Teresita's practice focuses on assisting and advising public and private companies on a variety of corporate and securities transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private placements and corporate governance, with a focus on the media and entertainment industries.
Prior to joining Sheppard, Teresita spent three years as a corporate associate in a premiere global law firm, where she focused her practice on representing public and private companies across a range of industries in connection with secured and unsecured credit financings and capital markets. Prior to that, Teresita worked as a foreign associate in a premiere global law firm, where she focused on different aspects of finance law in connection with Latin America, specifically lending, project finance and capital markets.
In addition to being admitted in New York, Teresita is admitted to practice law in Venezuela, where she worked for two years in a prestigious national law firm as a corporate associate.
