Sean Maffett is an associate in the Real Estate, Energy and Infrastructure, Land Use & Environmental Practice Group in the firm's San Francisco office.
Sean's practice focuses on multifamily and commercial real estate transactions. He has represented clients on a variety of real estate transactions with an emphasis on acquisitions and dispositions, office and retail leasing and subleasing, and entity formation. His experience also includes documenting acquisition financing and loan defeasances, negotiation of construction agreements, title and survey due diligence, and other general real estate matters.
Prior to joining Sheppard, Sean worked with a law firm in Monterey, California as an associate with the firm’s transactional group, and as a legal fellow/corporate counsel with Designer Shoe Warehouse (“DSW”) in Columbus, Ohio, where he obtained retail and corporate in-house legal experience.
