Robin Brewer represents technology companies —from high-tech to carburetors—before the International Trade Commission (ITC) and in district courts, including in worldwide litigation involving standard-essential patent (SEP) disputes. Co-leader of Sheppard's ITC Litigation practice, she is often called upon in active cases to organize teams, streamline processes and chart a clear path forward. Clients and colleagues turn to her for practical strategy, creative legal solutions and draft winning arguments.
When taking on a new matter, Robin starts by identifying the winning strategy. She focuses on identifying major inflection points and building the case around what will actually make a difference. She has secured important legal victories for technology clients on critical issues before the ITC—victories that have become regularly cited precedent.
Robin has developed a noted practice in ITC litigation for technology clients. She has been recognized by Chambers USA and Chambers Global in International Trade: Intellectual Property (Section 337) for four years in a row, moving up a band in 2025. She was lauded by a client who said, "Robin is always very prepared; she will walk in knowing the facts and records better than anyone else in the room."
