Oscar Leija is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in Sheppard’s Houston office. He advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on complex business transactions, including the structuring and negotiation of mergers and acquisitions, growth equity investments, divestitures, carve-outs, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, and general corporate matters.
Oscar works with clients across a range of industries, including healthcare; software, media and technology; transportation and infrastructure; and emerging and advanced technologies such as AI, robotics and quantum, as well as life sciences.
He works closely with deal teams and internal stakeholders to keep transactions moving and issues resolved in real time.
