Max is an associate in the firm's Business Trial Practice Group and is based in the firm’s Orange County office. His practice focuses on construction law and construction litigation, representing owners, contractors, subcontractors, and other construction industry participants in a wide range of construction-related matters.
Max advises clients throughout all phases of a project, including contract drafting and review, claims counseling, and dispute avoidance strategies. He also represents clients in mediation, arbitration, and litigation involving complex construction disputes, including construction defect claims, payment disputes, delay and disruption claims, contract disputes, and related business litigation.
In addition to his dispute resolution practice, Max counsels clients on pre-litigation strategies designed to minimize risk, preserve claims and defenses, and position matters for favorable outcomes. Max has experience handling matters at every stage of litigation, from pre-suit investigation and early case assessment through pleadings, motion practice, discovery, mediation, trial, and post-trial proceedings.
