Lindsey Alhadef structures complex financings for private credit funds and nonbank lenders, focusing on transactions with unconventional collateral and customized borrowing base mechanics. She helps clients design risk-appropriate structures for deals where traditional lending frameworks do not fit.
Lindsey advises on senior secured loans, specialty finance facilities, cash flow-based financings, and net asset value (NAV) financings, often involving bankruptcy-remote subsidiaries and other structured entities. She develops tailored borrowing base formulas, eligibility criteria and advance-rate mechanics for varying collateral pools, enabling lenders to underwrite and execute financings tied to bespoke asset classes.
Her experience spans consumer finance, technology, healthcare, dental and franchised business models, and retail and consumer products. She helps structure asset-based facilities for platforms originating loans and other financial assets, as well as cash-flow financings where appropriate. Lindsey works closely with lender teams across multiple markets, leveraging client-specific knowledge to support efficient execution from term sheet through closing.
Before joining Sheppard, Lindsey was an associate at a large international law firm, where she represented banks, nonbank lenders, corporate borrowers and private equity sponsors in leveraged finance and fund finance transactions.
When she isn't working on financings, Lindsey spends time with her husband and two young boys and enjoys the occasional Pilates class.
