Jordan Hamburger advises private equity firms and their portfolio companies as well as public and private companies on middle-market mergers and acquisitions and related corporate transactions. The co-leader of the firm’s Private Equity team, he also serves clients as outside general counsel to his clients, leveraging extensive experience as an issue spotter and problem solver to handle day-to-day business and legal challenges.
In the private equity space, Jordan advises both buyers and sellers on acquisitions and dispositions. With comprehensive experience addressing the needs of funds and more mature companies pursuing strategic growth transactions, Jordan is also skilled in guiding founders and young companies new to major transactions. He has particular expertise handling corporate carve outs, both domestically and internationally.
While he has particularly deep experience serving clients in the healthcare and financial services industries, Jordan advises companies in a broad array of sectors including manufacturing, aerospace and defense, consumer products, food and beverage, and retail.
Additionally, Jordan advises public and private companies on corporate governance matters, public and private securities offerings and other general corporate representation. He represents public companies in connection with securities law compliance and reporting, including compliance with NASDAQ and NYSE listing standards.

Outside the office, Jordan enjoys spending time with his wife and two children—traveling, in the mountains, skiing and playing golf. An avid sports fan, he roots for the Mets, Lakers, Jets and Kings.
