Jon Newby is of counsel. He previously served as Vice Chair of the firm, led the Corporate Practice Group and was Managing Partner of the Century City office.
Although Jon's practice had historically focused on mergers and acquisitions and the representation of private equity sponsors, he later devoted 100% of his time to firm management. As a member of the firm's management team, Jon focused on implementing the firm's strategic plan, as well as overseeing the operation and growth of its practice groups, industry teams and offices. He also had significant responsibility for the firm's lateral partner recruiting efforts.
