Johneth Park is an experienced corporate lawyer who serves as outside general counsel on matters of U.S. law to major Korean companies, especially for their transactions and operations in the United States. Before joining Sheppard, Johneth was general counsel of Doosan Corporation and later served as chief legal officer of HyAxiom, a U.S.-based renewable energy subsidiary of Doosan. These roles gave him firsthand experience with the challenges Korean companies face when operating, investing or facing litigation in the U.S.—from managing legal risk and regulatory compliance to aligning global business objectives with domestic expectations. That in-house perspective enhances the guidance he provides to Korean clients across industries, including manufacturing, technology, energy and infrastructure.
