John Healy is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the firm’s New York office. His practice focuses on patent litigation and post-grant proceedings across a broad range of industries, including consumer electronics, telecommunications, and retail.
John graduated cum laude from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University with an Intellectual Property Law Honors distinction. Upon graduation, John was elected class speaker and received both the Excellence in Intellectual Property and the William Eric Goldberg Awards. John brings a distinctive technical foundation to his practice, having graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
Prior to joining the firm, John served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Mary Kay Vyskocil in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. He has also published three scholarly articles, one magazine article, and numerous blog posts on topics ranging from artificial intelligence and intellectual property to patent policy and emerging technologies.
