Jocelyn Whiteley is special counsel in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm's San Diego (Downtown) office.

Before joining Sheppard, Jocelyn worked on behalf of policyholders, ranging from individuals to fortune 500 companies, in Seattle, Washington. Her prior policyholder work brings valuable insight to her insurer clients and enables them to effectively minimize risk and accomplish their goals.
Jocelyn has resolved insurance issues across jurisdiction, including Washington, Oregon, California, New York, Michigan, Kansas, Texas, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Florida, the United Kingdom, and more. She is well-versed in all types of insurance products, including property, commercial general liability, cyber, umbrella and excess, directors and officers, errors and omissions, and many others.
Jocelyn is licensed in both California and Washington. Jocelyn was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Washington from 2017-2022, and in California from 2024-2025.
