Hope Peraria is an associate in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm's Los Angeles office.
Hope represents corporations and individuals in complex commercial litigation, government investigations, and contract disputes. Her practice has been focused on healthcare litigation, representing clients such as hospitals, physician and specialty practice groups, and management services organizations in both affirmative and defensive postures. Hope works on matters involving the False Claims Act, the Lanham Act, other regulatory and compliance statutes, as well as claims sounding in fraud or contract. She also participates in Sheppard's Women in Healthcare Leadership Collaborative.
She received her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Cardozo Journal of Equal Rights and Social Justice and participated in a field clinic in the Health Care Bureau of the New York State Office of the Attorney General.
Prior to law school, Hope spent six years as a healthcare copywriter where she researched, strategized, and implemented health campaigns that included high-science materials targeted toward both healthcare professionals and patients.
