Gabriele Josephs is an associate in the Real Estate, Energy, Land Use & Environmental Practice Group in the firm's Houston office.
Gabriele’s practice focuses on derivatives contracts and commodities transactions. Gabriele represents financial institutions, hedge funds, commodity trading companies, energy marketers, project developers and other energy companies and investors in complex commodity and financing transactions across various sectors of the energy industry.
Prior to joining Sheppard, Gabriele was a corporate associate in a New York-based law firm’s Houston office focusing on mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and other complex corporate transactions.
Gabriele graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond where he was a Spencer Albright Scholar as a top student in the political science program. Gabriele then graduated with a juris doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was treasurer of the Black Law Students Association and Assistant Executive Editor of the Journal of Law and Politics.
