Anna Dorros advises residential and commercial developers of master planned communities, branded real estate projects, high-rise mixed-use developments and other types of real estate developments throughout California.
Structuring subdivision and governance regimes, she works to ensure that complex developments move from entitlement through sales while preserving flexibility in financing and disposition. Developers rely on her disciplined issue spotting in matters where legal architecture directly shapes business outcomes.
National and regional homebuilders, including publicly traded companies and private developers of large-scale communities, as well as urban high-rise and mixed-use developers, seek Anna’s guidance on subdivision, governance, sales programs and regulatory compliance. Her work spans single-family communities, condominium regimes and branded mixed-use environments, as well as the sale of parcels to merchant builders within larger master plans.
Anna’s integrated-structures work involves subdividing unified buildings on a single parcel into separately ownable and financeable components. Through carefully designed subdivision and governance regimes, she creates flexibility in financing and disposition strategies, supports phased sales and allocates long-term responsibilities among stakeholders while aligning project structures with regulatory requirements.
Working extensively with the California Department of Real Estate, Anna secures public report approvals for residential developments statewide. Her service as chair of the California Building Industry Association’s Department of Real Estate Legal Subcommittee enables her to actively engage with evolving regulatory practice and industry standards.
Anna enjoys spending time with her husband, three sons and dogs, cooking and travel.
