Andrea Warren is special counsel in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm's San Diego office.
Andrea has a nationwide practice representing major insurance companies in both litigated and non-litigated coverage matters. Over the last several years, Andrea has handled complex disputes in over 15 jurisdictions across the United States and in Puerto Rico. Andrea’s work includes both first-party and third-party matters, E&O, D&O, and general liability coverages. Her experience includes cutting-edge issues of first impression, such as the application of “related claims” issues and “prior and pending” litigation exclusions in the context of E&O and D&O coverage totaling over $2 billion. In non-litigated matters, Andrea’s experience has ranged broadly from analyzing first-party coverages to assisting clients with the analysis of complex liability coverages, drafting coverage opinions, and writing coverage position letters for D&O, E&O, general liability, cyber, auto, homeowners, and other types of claims.
Andrea writes and speaks frequently on D&O, E&O, and general liability coverage issues. She also serves on the Editorial Board of the San Diego Lawyer Magazine. Andrea is licensed in both California and Indiana, where she was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star – Insurance Coverage from 2017 to 2020.
