Andrea Park supports legal teams advising companies, founders, investors and tax-exempt organizations on the tax aspects of complex transactions. She assists with matters spanning mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, corporate reorganizations and partnership transactions, including cross-border structures.
Andrea contributes to deal teams by identifying structural issues early, translating technical tax considerations into commercially workable solutions and reviewing transaction documents for consistency with the intended structure. She brings particular attention to partnership and LLC tax complexities, tax attribute preservation and downstream implications such as state tax exposure. Her approach is detail-oriented and pragmatic, with an emphasis on clearly communicating risk levels and trade-offs so business teams can make informed decisions.
Before joining Sheppard, Andrea completed a law clerkship at the Korea office of a large U.S. law firm, where she supported cross-border corporate matters and international arbitration work.
