Overview

Amanda Cottrell protects clients’ money and property through complex commercial litigation involving contested contracts, business break-ups and bankruptcy disputes, as well as fiduciary and corporate fraud claims.

Her practice focuses on safeguarding critical infrastructure that communities rely on—from telecommunications and data centers to energy systems and multifamily real estate. As lead counsel in Texas and California courts, Amanda has secured significant victories, including a favorable jury verdict in a recent 10-week California trial.

Clients value her rare combination of commercial contract acumen and relentless trial advocacy, delivering outcomes efficiently by locking onto the business win early and building the case story from intake.

Amanda is committed to strengthening North Texas. For six years, she has co-chaired the North Texas Food Bank's “Food from the Bar” campaign that has helped deliver more than 2.5 million nutritious meals combating childhood hunger during the summer months.
