Alexandra Bear provides legal and strategic counsel for startup, midcap and multinational corporations, as well as trade associations, auction houses, art consignors and membership organizations in connection with a broad range of legal, operational, and business issues related to commercial transactions and deals, music, intellectual property, marketing, entertainment, artificial intelligence, privacy, information security, licensing, technology, and monetization strategy.
Alexandra was seconded to Christie’s for six months and then after acting as outside counsel to Peloton on a variety of music licensing, marketing, and intellectual property issues, she moved in-house at Peloton and built the Brand, Advertising and Music Legal Team. After serving as in house counsel for three years she switched to the business side and ran music and content strategy at Peloton. Following Peloton, she became the Chief Innovation & Operating Officer at Melissa Wood Health where she oversaw business strategy, product development, legal, finance and operations. These in-house experiences enable her to address legal, risk and business issues practically and operate as an extension of in-house counsel
