Theona Zhordania was recognized among the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2026 “Leaders of Influence in Insurance” list, which highlights prominent insurance professionals in Los Angeles County.
Zhordania was noted for representing insurers in high-stakes cases involving claims for breach of contract, bad faith, fraud and unfair business practices. As co-leader of Sheppard’s Insurance industry team, she has secured numerous summary judgment victories in bad faith actions, including dozens of significant wins for one of the world’s largest disability insurers, Unum Insurance, as well as other published decisions shaping insurance law.
