The Orange County Coalition for Diversity in the Law (OCCDL) honored Sheppard and its lawyers during its 2026 awards gala. The firm received the 2026 “Legacy Award” in recognition for its meaningful contributions to the OC legal community. In addition, Monica Youssef received OCCDL’s “Bridgebuilder Award,” and Alicia Burrell was named a “Top Young Lawyer.”
The annual awards recognize individuals and organizations that demonstrate leadership, collaboration, service and a commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in Orange County.
Founded in 2004, OCCDL is dedicated to increasing diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. The organization supports both local law students and its member practitioners through workshops, education and other programming.
