Sheppard was awarded “Outstanding Law Firm” of the year by the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program (SDVLP). The award recognizes the law firm that has contributed the most pro bono hours to SDVLP over the past year, taking into consideration the strength of the firm’s volunteers and support. Sheppard was presented with the award during the SDVLP’s annual Justice For All Celebration honoring the volunteers, supporters and community members who have made meaningful contributions to SDVLP and its clients.
Since 1983, SDVLP has provided pro bono legal assistance to San Diegans in need. SDVLP serves the most vulnerable members of the San Diego community including the homeless, veterans, immigrants and more.
