Marisa Miller and John Yacovelle were named 2026 Leaders of Influence in Construction by the San Diego Business Journal. The annual list recognizes and celebrates influential leaders in San Diego’s construction industry.
Miller, practice group co-leader of Sheppard’s 265-attorney Business Trial practice group, is a seasoned first-chair litigator representing some of California’s largest construction, energy and real estate companies.
Yacovelle represents construction and energy clients in jury trials, bench trials and domestic and international arbitrations. He regularly resolves contentious disputes and has tried numerous cases to favorable verdicts or arbitration decisions.
