Billboard named Sheppard lawyers Robert Darwell, Alexis Robinson, Daniel Schnapp, Nicolas Urdinola and Camille Vasquez to its 2026 list of “Top Music Lawyers.” According to Billboard, the recognized lawyers “guide superstars and industry-driving companies. They negotiate recording deals, global tours and catalog sales, and their legal savvy is essential to the music business now more than ever.”
This is the fourth consecutive year that Robinson and Schnapp, who co-lead the firm’s Music team, were recognized. The pair represent notable music industry leaders including ASCAP, Steinway Musical Instruments and Bandsintown, among others.
Darwell, who makes his third consecutive appearance on the list, and Urdinola were highlighted for advising clothing retailer ZARA on an unprecedented multimedia collaboration with superstar Bad Bunny. The collaboration was connected to the artist’s Super Bowl halftime performance and the launch of a new fashion collection. They also advised BLACKPINK’s Lisa on her acting agreement for Netflix Korea’s “Tygo,” and Argentine music star Paulo Londra on producer and guest artist agreements for his third studio album.
Vasquez was recognized for securing a win on behalf of the producers of the musical the “The Deb” – Gregor Cameron, Vince Holden and Amanda Ghost – in a sprawling lawsuit brought by actress and director Rebel Wilson in Los Angeles Superior Court.
