Sheppard represented Select Dental Management (SDM), a leading dental support organization operating 38 locations across eight states and Washington, D.C., in its strategic majority acquisition by Guardian Dentistry Partners (GDP), a Miami-based dental partnership organization.
The transaction expands GDP's presence across the Northeast and combines two rapidly growing platforms that collectively support hundreds of dentists and dental professionals across the United States. Following the transaction, the combined organization is expected to support approximately 500 dentists.
Founded in 2018, SDM supports more than 130 dentists and 720 team members across Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont and Washington, D.C.
