Sheppard represented Busey Bank in its expanded commercial partnership with the University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics. Under the agreement, Busey Bank will serve as the Official Financial Services Partner of Illinois Athletics and the jersey patch sponsor for Fighting Illini football, men's and women's basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, soccer and men's and women's golf. The Busey Bank brand will also appear on sideline apparel worn by Illinois coaches.
