Sheppard’s Energy and Infrastructure industry team advised EDP Renewables North America (EDPR NA) in a tax equity financing of its Riverstart Solar IV project, a 150 MW solar-powered generating facility in Randolph County, Indiana.
Now commercially operational, the Riverstart Solar IV clean energy infrastructure project will generate electricity equivalent to the consumption of more than 28,800 homes and businesses every year while improving Indiana’s grid reliability, energy independence and regional economic growth.
EDPR NA is the largest owner and operator of clean energy in Indiana, generating nearly 30 percent of all the wind and solar capacity in the state. With the completion of Riverstart IV Solar, EDPR NA now operates 2 GW gross of reliable, domestically-sourced energy in Indiana powering the equivalent of more than 527,000 homes and businesses.
