Partner Reid Whitten was featured on the national evening news in the UK to discuss the Trump Administration’s decision to add Huawei Technologies to Entity List, which is essentially a trade blacklist. Reid commented that Google had no choice but to comply with the order and pull its software from Huawei. “The penalties for violating that regulation – depending how much a company exports -- could be in the millions, and the biggest possible penalty is that you lose the privilege to export internationally,” said Whitten.
